VSI is delighted to announce that our volunteer, Sangha, is a Global Citizen Award winner! Sangha took part in UCD Volunteers Overseas Volunteering and Global Citizenship programme. Sangha is an active advocate for climate justice and took #ActionAtHome by offering virtual workshops on responsible consumption and climate action. Sangha also hosted a virtual photo exhibition to encourage participants to think critically about what sustainability means to them. Not only is she a Gold GCA winner, but she is also an SDG Advocate with Development Perspectives and a Climate Ambassador with An Taisce The National Trust for Ireland. Sangha also volunteered in Ireland with VSI on their Wikipedia for Peace: Climate Justice project. Well done to Sangha for achieving her Gold Global Citizen Award!
