About the Project: Explore the Finnish countryside and village life! Volunteers will join a local cooperative to restore the historic vicarage area in Teisko village, creating a community space, cultural center, and sustainable travel destination. The site, which is located on an island by the lake, is a protected heritage landscape in Finland. 

Type of Work: Tasks include renovating buildings (sauna, outhouse) with eco-friendly materials, gardening, and maintaining the nature trail. Volunteers will use hand tools, and a supervisor will guide them. Bring durable outdoor clothing, rubber boots, and rain gear for cool, rainy weather. 

The camp focuses on traditional building methods, sustainable renovation, and permaculture gardening, with study sessions provided. 

Accommodation: Volunteers stay in shared rooms at the vicarage. Bed linen, and pillows are provided. 

No application deadline, open until all spaces are filled.
